Journey

In this time of Isolation

We are all affected by the Covid-19 Crisis and I hope you and your family are doing all they can to keep safe.

For many families this is a time to get all those tasks done that you haven’t wanted to do and put off because you didn’t have the time. Yes I include myself in that group.

But this is also a chance for people to do those things that they have wanted to do but haven’t had the opportunity because they have been so busy.

For my birthday my Boyfriend, RJ, gave me a book called “A Recipe for Writing Family History”. He’s awesome and I love him so much, and I love the book too!

I’m excited about this because I’ve always wanted to write my family history but its hard when you don’t think you are a writer and you don’t know where to start.

So. I’m going to finish the book today. Then starting tomorrow I will pick an ancestor and write something each day until I feel I can move on to another Ancestor.

It will be difficult, I know. I get distracted by the research end of the whole mess, so I need to devote that 1 hr a day to writing. Make notes about what information I need to get, sources, things like that, but the bulk will be devoted to writing.. something.. anything.
